What’s Youth of the Year (YOY)?

Youth of the Year is an unforgettable year-long leadership program. You get 365 days to develop your unique talents, to share your story, and to help others along the way. At the end of each year, one outstanding Youth of the Year candidate is selected to represent The Club as the Pikes Peak Region Youth of the Year (YOY). From there, local YOY’s compete to become the state, regional, and national YOY representative. Youth of the Year candidates get amazing opportunities to become leaders in the Club, in the community, at home, and at school. YOY’s get to go on exclusive team building trips, get to travel and stay in hotels, get to talk with community leaders, and get special training and mentorship. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to earn college scholarships and to strengthen your college applications with YOY experiences and activities.
